About YourCore Reformer Pilates

Induction Session

If you have never used a reformer before, it is a requirement to complete this Reformer Pilates Induction before attending group classes. This session is designed to introduce you to the basics of the reformer machine, including how to adjust the springs and safely perform key movements. Our instructor will guide you through the essential techniques, ensuring you are comfortable and confident in using the equipment. This induction is crucial for your safety and to help you get the most out of your reformer Pilates practice.

Base Reformer

Prior to starting this class you must have attended an Introduction to Pilates session and filled out a Liability form.
You will be taught both on and off the Reformer a basic set of exercises in Supine, Prone, seated and in an All Fours position. You will learn how to connect your abdominal muscles correctly and learn how to find a neutral posture. You will learn how to stabilize your shoulder & pelvic girdle and find stability through your lower and upper extremities.

Light Burn Reformer

To attend this class you must either have had previous reformer class experience at this level or have moved up from the beginner level with us. More complex exercises will be included in this class but will not yet include standing on the reformer unaided. You must be able to find and understand a neutral posture in all positions unaided by the instructor and be able to hold both legs in a table top position. You must also be able to perform, lunges, squats, kneeling planks correctly. This class will have you working in all planes of motion utilizing pilates props such as the magic circle, small ball , theraband and light weights.

Hot Burn Reformer

This class will have a dynamic faster pace. You must be able to work safely in a standing position on the reformer without an aide. You must also be able to find and hold a full plank, balances on one leg and be working towards plank and pike with your feet on the reformer foot bar Jump board will also be used in this class so a strong core control must be found and utilized. More complex choreography and movements will be utilized in this class.

Cardio Tramp Jump Board

To attend this class you will have to use the reformer before, possess good core strength, and be at a ”Light Burn” level to join the class Cardio Tramp Reformer Pilates is a high-energy, low-impact workout that combines traditional reformer exercises with a trampoline-style jump board. This class boosts your heart rate while keeping pressure off the joints, making it an excellent alternative to high-impact cardio workouts. Using controlled, dynamic movements, you’ll strengthen your core, tone your legs, and improve endurance—all while bouncing with precision and control. Whether you’re looking to enhance athletic performance or simply add variety to your Pilates routine, this session delivers a fun, full-body challenge.
